How It Works: Leagues

« Lineups

There are two types of leagues here at Pay the Fan - the official ones and the ones that you create. Each team you purchase can join any league and you'll still only have one lineup to manage per team.

Official Leagues

When you sign up, your team will be automatically entered in our Official Football League. Keep your eye on the standings in this league to follow who is in the running for the big money at the end of the season.

You'll also notice each week that you've been entered in the current "Best of Week" league. Again, pay attention to the standings here because the owner of the top team each week will get $10,000.

There's one more type of official league to join, but it's not for money -- it's for pride. We've created leagues for each pro team. You'll be able to band together with your fellow fans to determine which fan base has the best fantasy owners.

User Created Leagues

You have two ways of creating and joining your own leagues. The first is to create a private league and serve as its commissioner. Just pick a league name and a password, upload a logo if desired, and then send out invites to all your buddies from your commissioner dashboard.

Don't have enough friends on Pay the Fan to create your own league? Then choose the second option by creating a public league. You can make your league about anything you want. For example, make a league for people who love hamburgers or for people who went to your college. We don't really care, just have a good time and keep it clean

SMACK Boards

Joining a league is way more fun if you can talk smack with the other owners, right? Hell yeah! That's why we created a place for you to post messages and reply to other owners. Don't worry if you're in a private league, though -- the public won't be able to see your trash talkin'.
